WoW Item Upgrades
More commonly referred to as "upping"--are an enchantment and item that can be put on armor and weapons, increasing their power. These upgrade items increase the gauge of an item by a specified number of points. The cost of these upgrades increases depending on their rarity.
A perfectly made version of this armor is highly prized in the melee PvP community for its ability to reduce weapon damage.
Type-restricted upgrades
The process of upgrading is an essential aspect of the crafting process. They can improve the quality of an item, make it stronger or weaker and even add an added benefit. They also affect the item's appearance. While some upgrades are universal, others have special rules when applied to weapons or armor. The wrong upgrade can ruin an otherwise excellent weapon, and could even lead to it becoming unusable.
As a rule it is possible to upgrade an item of equipment up to the level of its top-level counterpart. This means that you can upgrade the helms, body armors and gloves and shields to the level of their highest-level counterparts. Weapons, on the other hand can be upgraded to the level of a sword. This does not increase the weapon's power of damage, but it can decrease its trade value.
You can upgrade an item using crests or flightstones. The amount of both depends on the item level and slot. For instance upgrading to a sword will cost more flightstones than an upgrade to bracers or a cloak. You can also receive discounts on the number of flightstones or crests required to upgrade an item.
Upgrading an item fills up its diamond-shaped indicator. Each step increases the item's Tier level one-third. Tier 3 is the highest level. Based on the item it could require a different amount of upgrades to reach this level. It is important to remember that any process that can mount a disk shouldn't be running during the process of upgrading. It is also important to make sure that the disk you're upgrading is not being used as an system drive.
Enchantment lets you change white or Common items to blue or rare ones. Eleanor's Enchantment Shop located in the Capital District is where you can do this. This method does not add gem or rune slots to the equipment, however it does alter its size. It makes the equipment larger by two categories smaller. For example, a Stormtrooper armor is Medium and a Blaster Pistol Small.
Universal upgrades
Universal upgrades are upgrades which can be applied to any type of equipment. This includes weapons and armor. Upgrade components are available through Random drops or side quests. Universal upgrades can be either temporary or permanent, and may overlap with Power Ups. They can also be linear or branching.
The Universal Upgrade is when "internal technologies" can provide sentient creatures new capabilities that could not develop naturally. Examples of internal technology include prostheses or implants. This type of technology is not the same as medical internal technology which seeks to restore natural capabilities. It's the beginning of a process that will transform civilizations in a fundamental way. The universal upgrade is a complex procedure that can take a long time to complete. The process can be classified in two categories one of complete success and the other of partial failure.
It's similar to the way resort upgrades are implemented at Disney and Universal. In the case WDW it is typically due to operational needs like availability of rooms or overbooking. In the case of Universal this could mean to move guests from one resort to another that is open. This is not intended to be rude but it could be inevitable in the present climate.
Universal upgrades can be applied on any type of gear. In addition, they can be applied to multiple items at the same time. They are therefore more flexible than any other upgrade type. This flexibility can be a problem when upgrading items along a particular gear route. It will increase the item levels of all pieces on the route.
Before you upgrade, it's essential to stop PowerShell Universal and delete any existing application files. Then, you can install new files using the GetChildItemRecurse command or Unblock-File. To make sure that your PSU server is working correctly you must also conduct a basic verification.
Jewels
Jewels are enhancements that can be put into armor, weapons, and other. The reagents and gems used to create them give different stat bonuses and secondary effect. They are available in Golden Chests and Rift Incursions. They can be bought from a master craftsman for gold or Karma. Jewels can be made using a jewelry table using 5 of the same type of reagent and 1 gem to make the jewel of an upper or lower tier. This is similar to upgrading a stone the gemcrafting table.
Jewel levels are determined by the number of modifiers they have. Jewels of higher tiers are more modifiers than lower-tier jewels. The primary effect of a gem is determined by the tier it's, while the secondary effect is randomized and players can make use of luck potions to increase the chances of better secondary effects.
Jewels can also be added to objects with sockets that match, just like other upgrade components. For instance Garnet Pebble (gemstone) and an Adorned Garnet Jewel (jewel) both add strength, however the Garnet Pebble only increases regular hits while the Garnet Jewel also boosts the player's powerful attacks. Jewels can be put into every level of armor, weapon, and accessory slots, as well as some trinkets with rarer or exotic nature which require a slot to be empty.
As with other DM mechanics, gems aid to ensure that items are special to their owners. Requirements

A window will appear with the different upgrades available for the item. The window will display the upgrade level, the upgrade type bonus (such a Tech Points or a Quality Chance) and the cost of upgrading. The upgrade level is displayed in the form of a bar that is located at the top of the screen and the upgrade type bonus is shown below it.
If the player decides to upgrade the item the item will be delivered to the NPC who is upgrading, who will explain the procedure for upgrading the item. The player then has to provide the appropriate currency for that upgrade, and could be asked to provide additional materials should they require it. These requirements are based on the level of manufacture and the weapon's requirements are typically stricter requirements than armor.
Many upgrade recipes include the list of acceptable material' in addition to the components required. This list lists the other upgrade components are available on the item, and also includes a flag that indicates whether the item can be guaranteed to boost or additional effect. item upgrading is important to know because the value of an upgraded item may differ significantly based on the 'extras' it has, with perfectly rolling gear much more valuable than non-upgraded versions.
For the kinds of upgrades that require crests or valorstones, these will be displayed in a separate list beneath the main list. The number of crests and the valorstones required will depend on the level of the item. Upgrades to weapons require the most Valorstones.
